The CE Graduate Program at UNM is a wonderful and challenging program filled with professors who are always willing to take the time to help you. The actual Albuquerque area can be a little sketchy though, the police department has been criticized for it's overuse of violence and the public transportation afforded here is pretty much non-existent.

It is a great academic program and for urban planning, the city offers a very enriching experience. The workload is quite tough and I wish there was more emphasis on international planning. That being said, I would definitely recommend the program to anyone interested in the field!
